Tanks are a type of vehicle featured in Warfare 1917 and Warfare 1944.

Warfare 1917[]

In this game, they are slow but heavily armored and well-armed behemoths that can only be efficiently eliminated when using Fire Support. They are effective against everything, even entrenched infantry or other tanks, but have the longest reinforcement times in the game.

British Army[]

The British Mk IV 'Male' uses a pair of 6-pounder guns and 3 Lewis Guns. In the campaign, it can be upgraded with:

  • Rally, which speeds up reinforcement.
  • Post Haste, which speeds up reinforcement even further.
  • Tank Command, which increases damage and defense.

Imperial German Army[]

German tank 1

The German A7V uses a 57mm main gun and 6 MG08 machine guns. In the campaign, it can be upgraded with:

  • Reinforcements, which speeds up reinforcement.
  • Rapid Deployment, which speeds up reinforcement even further.
  • Industrial Action, which speeds up Tank reinforcement greatly.

Warfare 1944[]

In this game, tanks are still effective against everything, but can be beaten by well-placed Bazooka Teams or Fire Support. The main gun, coaxial machine gun or engine can be disabled or reduced in effectiveness by damage. They still have the longest reinforcement times.

US Forces[]

The American M4A1 Sherman uses a 75mm main gun and a .30 caliber machine gun and costs 800 RP. Despite having a more powerful main gun and tougher armor in real life, the Panzer III outclasses it in-game. In the campaign, it can be upgraded with:

  • Hit 'Em Hard, which increases damage when attacking from the flank.
  • Post Haste, which speeds up reinforcement.
  • Resupply Inbound, which speeds up reinforcement even further.
  • In Good Supply, which reduces their RP cost.
  • Engine Upgrade, which greatly increases movement speed.
  • Anti Infantry, which greatly increases MG damage.
  • Armor Production, which greatly speeds up Tank reinforcement.

Wehrmacht[]

The German Panzer III uses a 50mm main gun and a MG34 machine gun and costs 800 RP. Despite having a weaker main gun and armor in real life, it outclasses the Sherman in-game. In the campaign, it can be upgraded with:

  • Secure Flanks, which increases defense against attacks from the flank.
  • Reinforcements, which speeds up reinforcement.
  • Rapid Deployment, which speeds up reinforcement even further.
  • Heavy, which increases defense.
  • Engine Upgrade, which greatly increases movement speed.
  • Armor Production, which greatly speeds up Tank reinforcement.
